If you’ve ever spent time browsing sites like Plane Finder, you’ll agree just how staggering it is to see all the flights above us in the sky at any given moment.
So this got us thinking… we know people are flying off to holiday destinations like Majorca and packing their sunglasses, or the Algarve with a book for the beach. But how many of these every day items are actually above us at any one time? Just how many gallons of sun cream are in the sky right now, or how many tea bags are Europeans sending up there each day?
A dizzying thought when you add up the numbers - which is exactly what we did in our latest infographic with easyJet Holidays. In fact, you might not look up at the sky in the same way again…
