This is a legitimate question. The other day me and my friend were talking about what shampoo we use (or something like that I don't exactly remember) and he mentioned something about which way he faces in the shower. I always thought everyone faces away from the water, so it hits them in the back of the head, but he said he faces the water so it hits his chest. Now I haven't been able to stop thinking about this and genuinely want to know if I am weird and face the wrong way when showering.

It depends. If I'm washing my hair, away from the showerhead, but if I'm washing my face, towards it. If I'm standing there rethinking life I sit on the floor though, so not entirely sure.

For some reason I face towards the shower when using my body wash but away from it when rinsing out my shampoo and conditioner.
