If by pride they mean "ability to remove consent and leave", yeah, education and money will do that 🙃
I need more context here, was he saying she deserved it earlier? was he being critical?

I don't know why you were downvoted unless it was a sh*tty lorry driver.

Why lorry drivers do that kinda s**t is beyond me, as driving is clearly his lively hood 🤦♀️losing Ines licence means losing one’s job .
I think people catcalling elementary school students should get 24h holding and put on a list. They clearly are the P people.

You can tell this wasn't Florida because the teacher would be fired IMMEDIATELY for saying that families that don't fit into the standard heterosexual nuclear family model are normal.

It should be mandatory to teach young girls that they have absolutely no obligation to marry or even date men if they don't want to. If it'd make them happy to be with a woman or NOBODY at all, it's all a possibility.

One time a man shushed me, in a meeting with others. I YELLED at him, "DO NOT EVER SHUSH ME". Showing anger is power, and he never did that again. And sorry this person had to deal with a conspiracy theorist. They are THE most illogical and irrational people ever. Hard pass.

I did something similar to my ex husband, but left him at his parents. We lived in the north and his parents in the south. We went down for Xmas and I found out he was having an affair. He lost his licence through drinking and driving the previous year, so I got in my car and just....left. The look on my parent's faces when I showed up on their stoop alone was priceless.

Unfortunately, not everyone is into traveling. I'm definitely a homebody type myself, so I can understand both sides of this, though it must have súcked for OP. In the end, their lifestyles and preferences were just incompatible.
